Homemade Playdough // Glitter Recipe

If y'all accept never made homemade playdough, I hope this post compels you do it already. It's really easy and absurd to make. (By cool I hateful sciency and awesome). The kids loooooooove making information technology, merely the truthful bonus is that information technology lasts forever and ever! (Past forever I mean in playdough-time, which is near 6 months). Nosotros used food coloring just you could as well experiment with natural dyes.

Ingredients:

i cup flour

one/4 loving cup common salt

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 cup h2o

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

dye & glitter

Directions:

Mix dry out ingredients in a large-ish basin (big is good because and so little people can stir without losing too much). Add together the water, oil, food coloring and glitter. We used nigh 2 tablespoons silverish glitter. When fully mixed (it's ok if there are nonetheless a few lumps), pour into a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook and stir for almost three minutes, or until the mixture draws away from the pan. Absurd until y'all are able to handle it. Knead until smooth and place in an airtight container (we use zip locks).

{Note: Although homemade, this playdough is not edible because it's also salty.}
